With the onset of the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic in April 2020, many figure drawing classes and schools were hard hit, due to mandates requiring indefinitely postponing traditional live figure drawing classes.

This was the case with Karl Gnass as well. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit full force, Karl’s live in-studio classes were all indefinitely put on hold both at the studios and at the Animation Guild’s AAI.

Yes, as opposed to working with pre-recorded figure drawing classes or instruction, you’ll be working 100% live online with Karl, the model, and other students through the ZOOM platform .

2. IF A FIGURE DRAWING CLASS IS MISSED, CAN THE CLASS BE REVIEWED AFTER IT’S OVER?
Yes, all figure drawing classes are recorded and can be watched on ZOOM for up to 48 hours after each class. A link will be sent after each class.

3. CAN STUDENTS SUBMIT DRAWINGS TO KARL FOR CRITIQUE?
Yes, students have the option to submit drawings for critique, which will be individually reviewed by Karl.
